Turboid - Michiko Huynh
This is an 8-fold symmetric variation of the 77 Turbo design by Jeff Graham. 77 Turbo is a 7-fold symmetric design using the 77 index gear. This design uses the 96 index gear.
It cuts a bright stone. It is good for medium to light saturated materials. There is no surprise in this pattern. Like the Portuguese cut, it requires a lot of repetition on the crown. Try to get good meets because it tends to get sloppy. The pavilion is very simple. It is for materials with RI 1.61 or above.
