This traditional emerald cut weighs 4.51 carats.  I like the balance of the colors and tones in this long ratio cut.  I expected the a/b axis to be lighter in relationship to the c axis, but both merge beautiful to a nice red.  I really prefer to cut emerald cuts with smaller ratios, large ratio stones are certainly more work to keep true, but the rough wouldn't let me and give a decent yield.
