This traditional emerald cut weighs 10.07 carats.  I love this picture.  Nothing has been done to change it from the original effort and it gives a soft warm feeling, like old amber, to the stone.  But it probably over states it mellow nature.  I have cut quite a few of these golden oranges, but none come close to this size. I have had them try (and succeed) in coming apart on me and the table on this large example was a major effort to polish.  Still in its box it looks so innocent, in its bright purity, of the hair loss it caused.

This traditional emerald cut weighs 10.07 carats. I love this picture. Nothing has been done to change it from the original effort and it gives a soft warm feeling, like old amber, to the stone.
