This traditional emerald cut weighs 11.00 carats. Its bright green body shows flashes of both dichroic colors, yellow green and blue green.  They mix beautifully in a gem that has great transparency for such a richly toned gem (richer than sea foam to me).  Unfortunately it has inclusions that are eye visible face up and can distract my eye.  Still this Afghanistan tourmaline needs only a little sun to come alive and overwhelm any piece of jewelery it might be set in.
