This oval weighs 3.87 carats and is clean and bright. I like brown and this is a fine example of a Dravite tourmaline, so called because of its color, It is still probably an Elbaite and not the potassium rich tourmaline end member/species Dravite. It is also nice that my brown beauty showed indications of copper with the spectrometer. I really don't know how much impact the copper has on the gemstones color.
