Hoshi - Marco Voltolini

4.90 ct. Brazilian light colored amethyst test-cut

I wanted to test another design with a "weavy" girdle. The overall aspect of stones cut with this design is quite lively and pleasant, and reflections display a nice 4-fold symmetry star.

This design is fairly easy to cut, some attention is just needed in cutting the first tiers of the crown, where gear indices are very close.

This design performs well with materials such as quartz and all the materials with higher RI's (tested with ray-tracing simulations).
