Arpa - Marco Voltolini

Test-cut in almost colorless topaz (hint of blue)
Rendering to check the performance in citrine quartz

A design derived somehow from "CampanileUCB" design, but best suited for those pieces of rough that ask to be cut as a long pear, when you are not in the mood of cutting a pear...

This design is quite sparkling and not difficult to cut. Some problems may arise at the second dopping stage, when the pavillion is cut, since there's no centered apex. I solved cutting this diagram rotated by 90 degrees, so I could use my keyed "V" dop. Other than this, the design cuts easily, you just have to pay attention at meets.

Nicking the sharp apex to avoid chipping may also be a good idea.
