This oval weighs 1.68 carats.  I like its color, tone and saturation, now if the tourmaline would just clean up its act.  I had another one with the same winning combination, but the growth tubes pointed straight out of the table.  The table had a lot of little holes in it that you couldn't really see them and not the greatest clarity, but the color sold it at a local store years ago.  I still rather miss it, but I will do the best I can with this gem, that just could not be oriented the best way for the growth tubes and save a decent body of color.
